Liberals Hate Families

A vessel for a muse or two

2 notes

Drive is a genre film through and through. It follows a specific formula and it doesn’t deviate from it. The formula is an 80s movie that is rigorously serious, has an electropop soundtrack, and absolutely no sense of humor. It works though. It’s not a great film, but it works for what it is. It suddenly turns violent when it goes into revenge mode, but good acting and directing makes everything fit nicely into place.
