Perhaps the real fault here is my expectations. I saw Conan on tour, and it was a great show, and I was more interested in the back story and behind the scenes here than I really was the show. There was a good amount of behind the scenes, but it never approaches intimate or genuine. I would be interested to know how Conan O’Brien is when the cameras aren’t rolling, and this film didn’t really do anything but further his comedic persona.
