Liberals Hate Families

I saw a review earlier for this film that said “Young Adult may be the year’s most engaging feel-bad movie” and I couldn’t have said it better myself. I can’t pitch to you that this is a movie for Christmas that will make you feel warm and fuzzy. It won’t show you how people change and overcome hardships and become more altruistic human beings. It’s one long exhibit of how someone can be a completely delusional asshole with no remorse and actively choose NOT to change. So go see this movie. The acting is incredible. The writing is mature and thoughtful. It will make you cringe A LOT but it will also make you laugh, albeit uncomfortably.
